Madonna has always been skewed to the left, but even her history of anti-republican political rhetoric didn’t stop concert goers from scratching their head and asking what the singer was trying to say when she pleaded for Americans to vote for Obama, while simultaneously calling him a Muslim. Madge claims she was trying to be ironic. But just as with the cheerleading outfit she wore two songs prior, everyone in the audience was left confused and more than a little uncomfortable.
