In advance of Halloween weekend, Stanford Live will host students, staff and community members with two performances of “War of the Worlds.” The performance—which comes to the States from a sell-out run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival—is inspired by H.G. Wells’ infamous novel and Orson Welles’ radio adaption, but feels even more relevant in the spooky season of a pandemic world.
