Since 1987, the San Jose-based Italian American Heritage Foundation has been hosting an annual event aimed at introducing the community to the power, beauty and history of Italian opera. The World of Italian Opera celebration has long benefitted from its partnership with San Jose Opera—as the company’s world-class performers give audiences a primer on Italian operas by Puccini, Verdi and more. This Friday, the IAHF celebrates the 30th anniversary of World of Italian Opera with cocktails, a holiday buffet, and, of course, opera.
