Before playing Darryl Philbin in The Office, Doug Judy in Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Matheson in Pineapple Express, Craig Robinson earned a master’s degree in education and was an elementary school music teacher in his hometown of Chicago. Before playing Darryl Philbin in The Office, Doug Judy in Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Matheson in Pineapple Express, Craig Robinson earned a master’s degree in education and was an elementary school music teacher in his hometown of Chicago. Now, he’s based out of LA and is a certified heavy-hitter on the stand-up circuit. He also performs with his band, The Nasty Delicious. Most recently, Robinson starred alongside Eddie Murphy, Keegan-Michael Key and Wesley Snipes in the 2019 biopic Dolemite is My Name. Robinson comes to San Jose for three nights this weekend.
