DJ Snake once commented that 4B was the “next big thing” in EDM, and the reptile has a point. 4B’s massive dance tracks gather and swell ominously, then explode into white hot dubstep freakouts. When the beat finally drops in 2015 hit “Pop Dat,” it slams with the same lunatic intensity as DJ Snake’s own “Turn Down For What,” jagged melodies popping and locking all over the cavernous subs. The Jersey club producer is one of the earliest performers to drop in at the newly reopened Pure Nightclub in Sunnyvale, who also recently opened a club called (wait for it) YOLO.

Bobby McKeon, better known by his stage name, 4B, has attracted the attention of some of the biggest names in EDM with his aggressive Jersey club aesthetic. He first grabbed the national spotlight with his 2015 track, “Pop Dat.” The energetic collaboration with Aazar went on to become one of the most popular trap tracks of 2016. McKeon comes to Pure behind a new EP, Explosive. It is an appropriate title for the project, which finds the rising producer working with Purowuan, Acraze and YDG on four highly combustible club bangers.

When it comes to gauging a DJ’s ability to light up a dance floor, few tastemakers in the game have a finger more firmly on the pulse than Diplo. A co-sign from the Florida-bred producer extraordinaire is more than enough to get people listening. This New Jersey beatsmith and DJ has the support not only of Diplo but a slew of other big name selectors as well, from Steve Aoki to the Chainsmokers. Thus far, 4B has dropped a two proper EPs for Mad Decent, and he keeps his SoundCloud page fresh by cranking out club remixes.
