PLAYING HOOKY: The lost boys, the Darlings, Hook and his crew will all be there.

The Palo Alto Players take on Peter Pan. Here the players resurrect the 1954 Broadway musical version, starring Mary Martin—not the animated Disney adventure of 1953. It tells the familiar story of the Darling siblings and their trip to the magical realm of Neverland. Those who’ve seen the musical on stage or in one of its multiple TV incarnations will recognize numbers like “I Won’t Grow Up” and “Never Never Land.” The play is directed and choreographed by Janie Scott, who starred in the 1980 Broadway revival alongside Sandy Duncan.
